Animation (New)

Liang-Hsin Huang

Liang studied her post-graduate degree in experimental animation at the Royal College of Art here in London.  This firm base gave her the opportunity to hone her skills, allowing her to infuse each piece with power and, what looks like effortless charm.  Liang explains that she came to love the British style of animation and reveled in the UK 'vibe' which nourished her own art practice.   Her fascination with the telling of very personal stories and evoking memories of spaces shared, brings a poetry and rhythm to her pieces.  They show the tensions and joys of close relationships, bringing a clarity and explanation that we can invest in and an empathy that can draw us in to even the most complex texts.
