Having spent several years immersed in the fascinating culture of Tokyo, Ailsa Johnson decided to capture her experiences through a collection of striking images which span the divide between the real and the imagined. This collection has received a beautiful review in Pen Magazine which is definitely worth a read.

Deft Touch for a Challenging Text
Another beautiful image from Cat O’Neil for the FT over the weekend. This poignant work accompanied a bittersweet piece by Carrie Jade Williams on the reality of dying from Huntington’s Disease. As ever, Cat’s sensitive handling and deft touch allowed the image to carry this challenging text with aplomb. Such an achievement when timings are, by necessity, so very tight on editorial briefs. Thank you Cat.

This publication is a real Who’s Who of international excellence and includes some of the finest illustrators working in the field today. This powerful image of Eddie Vedder has always been one of our favourites.
